Canada Visitor Visa (TRV)

Apply online on the IRCC portal, then give biometrics at a VFS Global Canada centre within 30 days of the Biometric Instruction Letter

  5. Purpose-of-travel letter and itinerary
  6. Bank statements for the last 4 – 6 months and savings / FD / investment proofs
  7. Income Tax Return acknowledgements (ITR-V) for the last 3 assessment years, or Form 16
  8. Proof of occupation — Employed: employer NOC / leave approval and last 3 months' salary slips; Self-employed: GST / Udyam / company registration; Students: bonafide certificate or NOC; Retired: pension proof
  9. Invitation letter from host in Canada with their status document (PR card / citizenship / permit) and address proof
  10. Travel history (previous visas)
  11. Biometrics (valid for 10 years once given)

Canada Business Visitor Visa

Apply online on the IRCC portal + biometrics at VFS Global

  5. Covering letter from your Indian employer / company on letterhead confirming your designation, purpose of the trip and who bears the expenses
  6. Indian company registration proof (Certificate of Incorporation / GST registration) and last 6 months' company bank statement
  7. Bank statements and ITR for the last 3 years
  8. Biometrics

Important Notes

  • A medical exam is required if you plan to stay more than 6 months or work in certain jobs.
  • Parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens / PRs can apply for the Super Visa (stays up to 5 years per entry).
